Serving under the premierships of John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron, Lord O’Donnell has an intimate knowledge of how Number 10 and the Palace of Westminster affect the machination of our political masters.
Biography
Gus O'Donnell was knighted in 2005 and appointed to the House of Lords in 2012. He is visiting Professor at LSE and UCL, a member of the Economist Trust, and Chair of the Behavioural Insights Team Advisory Board. Lord O’Donnell was Cabinet Secretary and Head of the British Civil Service from 2005-2011. Gus is an Honorary Fellow of the British Academy and Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences
