The landscape scheme OnE, by Gustafson Porter Bowman, centres on the Eiffel Tower with the priority to connect the Place du Trocadero to the Ecole Militaire along a unified axis.

Combining classical French gardens (characterised by axes that express power) and French picturesque gardens (places of experimentation and biodiversity), the OnE site prioritises the human scale with intimate garden spaces and a mix of ornamental and native planting.

The 54-hectare site will offer spaces of contemplation and relaxation, revealing new perspectives of the Eiffel Tower.

Mary Bowman co-founded Gustafson Porter + Bowman in 2002 after working at Foster + Partners for 10 years, becoming one of the first female associates at the practice. This was followed by 3 years as director at Walters & Cohen. Mary’s experience as both architect and landscape architect is invaluable to understanding the integration of both and delivering a coherent and unified project.

The evening will be chaired by Peter Murray OBE
