BIM: Better Information Management

Past Master Richard Saxon CBE has been a champion of BIM for 20 years, at BDP, for the Government and currently as a client adviser at Deploi: BIM Strategies.

BIM has developed considerably in the last three years, from being centred on 3D modelling to being about Information Management.

In this CPD session, Richard will cover the current approach to whole-life information management, with its emphasis on briefing and supporting client decision making. It will also look at the direction of travel, towards the concept of the Digital Twin.

Richard is the author of three publications on the subject and is a supporter of the UK BIM Alliance.
